Support the Lasallian Mission in Singapore
At the heart of the Lasallian mission in Singapore
La Salle Centre supports all eight Lasallian schools and affiliated ministries by strengthening our shared identity, values, and commitment to young people—especially those most in need. Through formation, mission coordination, and community-building, La Salle Centre helps keep the One La Salle spirit alive, connected, and flourishing for future generations.
Strengthening the One La Salle Spirit
In 2025, La Salle Centre (LSC) completed its first full year of journeying alongside Lasallian schools and partners in Singapore. At its heart, LSC exists to help the Lasallian family feel more connected—to one another, to our shared mission, and to the values that shape Lasallian education.
LSC does not replace what schools already do well. Instead, it adds value by bringing people together, creating shared experiences, and helping the wider community see how individual efforts form part of a bigger One La Salle story. Through formation, community gatherings, and sector-wide coordination, the Centre supports schools and partners in living out the Lasallian spirit in a more connected and intentional way.
Building Community and Connection
One of LSC’s key roles is creating spaces where the Lasallian community can come together beyond individual schools. Sector-wide celebrations, liturgies, and gatherings offer moments to pause, reconnect, and remember that we belong to something larger than ourselves and our schools.
LSC also brings together alumni leaders, Parent Support Groups, school leaders, and governors for conversation and shared reflection. These gatherings help people listen to one another, build relationships, and find common ground. Over time, they strengthen trust, deepen friendships, and reinforce the sense that Lasallian education is sustained not just by institutions, but by people who care deeply about the mission and one another.
Growing Through Formation and Learning
Formation is at the heart of what LSC does. Across the year, the Centre designed and coordinated programmes for educators, leaders, students, parents, and families—supporting both professional growth and personal reflection.
From staff inductions and formation days to leadership programmes, retreats, and recollections, these experiences invite participants to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the purpose behind their work. By bringing people from different schools together, La Salle Centre also helps build shared language, mutual understanding, and supportive networks that continue well beyond each programme.
Supporting the Mission Together
At a wider level, La Salle Centre plays a quiet but important coordinating role across the sector. It supports Boards and school leaders by providing shared frameworks for leadership, governance, and mission stewardship, helping everyone stay aligned with Lasallian values while responding to today’s realities.
Through initiatives and programmes, La Salle Centre helps ensure that the Lasallian mission remains well-supported, thoughtfully guided, and ready to serve future generations.
What La Salle Centre Makes Possible
Ultimately, La Salle Centre’s value lies in helping people see and experience the One La Salle spirit more clearly. By connecting individuals and schools, creating spaces for reflection and learning, and supporting shared responsibility for the mission, La Salle Centre helps the Lasallian community grow together. In doing so, it ensures that the Lasallian spirit is not just remembered—but lived, shared, and renewed in everyday ways, across generations.
“The Lasallian school should be a place where teachers are supported in their activity of teaching,
in their development as teachers, and in their decisions as teachers”
