Support the Lasallian Mission in Singapore
This lady stands serenely and unobstrusively in the recess between the tennis courts and the school canteen – Our Lady of Lourdes! This statue has been with the school since World War II and has been a source of comfort and solace to many who dropped by to pray or just to see her. The statue was refreshed and installed in the Garden of Faith at the end of 2025.
On 11 February 2026, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, we took the opportunity to reveal her to the neighbourhood. Volunteers and staff invited friends from the neighbourhood to celebrate the Feast.
Fr Edward Seah celebrated Mass with us at the St Patrick’s School Chapel; we particularly remembered the sick during this Mass. After Mass, all gathered at the foyer and processed to the grotto, praying the rosary as we walked. It was lovely to hear the songs of Our Lady echo through the school compound. Amid the din coming from the school canteen, the rosary was prayed loudly and fervently by all who gathered in solidarity and prayer.
Dear Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.
